Stefani Prime serving Italian dishes and seafood alongside an array of beef
Phil Stefani and family are bringing a fine dining experience to their longtime home of Lincolnwood with Stefani Prime opening Thursday at 6755 N. Cicero.
The Italian steakhouse will offer prime cuts of steak including bone-in filet, tomahawk ribeyes, and both Kansas City and New York strips. Lamb racks, veal chops, pork loin and a prime burger round out other land options. From the waters, Stefani Prime will serve Scottish salmon, ahi tuna, cioppino, seafood towers, broiled Lake Superior whitefish and fritto misto with shrimp and calamari.
On the Italian end, dishes such as the Stefanis' chicken vesuvio will be offered, as well as fettuccine that is finished tableside inside a parmigiano reggiano wheel. Veal osso buco will be served with milanese-style risotto and veal valdostana with prosciutto and fontina cheese will also be offered. Read the full menu on Eater.
The bar will serve steakhouse standbys like dirty martinis, old fashioneds and manhattans, alongside newer cocktails and an extensive wine list. The main 90-person dining room is flanked by the 80-seat bar area, a 50-person private dining room and a semi-private room that seats 30. An outdoor patio will open in warmer months with seats for 60.
The Stefanis enlisted former David Burke's Primehouse chef Nolan Narut to helm the open kitchen, visible from the bar and dining rooms. Phil Stefani and his wife Karen, as well as daughter Gina and son Anthony, all worked together to bring a city dining experience to the neighborhood, without the downtown traffic and parking challenges. Complimentary valet parking will be available to patrons.
